Denis Montalbetti and Gay Campbell, the dynamic duo responsible for turning Tim Tams into tantalizing treats, and Kyle Sandilands into King Kong, are hotting things up at the Australian Centre for Photography in their latest exhibition, The Sensualists. Fluctuating between the photographic and the painterly, the commercial and the artistic, the sensual and the provocative, the work of Montalbetti & Campbell is truly a visual feast.

The exhibition is an immersive experience, a series of installations styled by Cassandra Scott-Finn with background music chosen by the artists. Highlights include pieces from their work on television shows Make me a Supermodel and Australia’s Next Top Model, in which the models are transformed into mythological creatures, and fantasy portraits of icons of popular culture, such as The Veronicas and novelist Rick Moody.

Montalbetti & Campbell: The Sensualists is on at the ACP until January 23, 2010.
